Connect Claude or another MCP client and let it add hosts, build checks, set up alerts or explain an outage: almost anything you can do in the interface. It works under a separate AI account with exactly your rights, and its changes are recorded in the audit log under that account.
Each customer is its own tenant with its own hosts, checks, alert rules and collectors; each user gets access to one or more tenants. Agents and collectors connect outbound over HTTPS 443: no VPN into customer networks, no inbound ports.

Route
Agents, collectors and the active collector send results to nginx. The receiver checks who sent them and appends them to the Redis stream. Workers evaluate them and write state and history to PostgreSQL.

Each box is a real component of a Vesana installation. The labels on the lines are the actual paths and names used between them.
Install
The installer checks the system, installs Docker if needed, pulls the stack and asks for your address and license key. Without a key the Community edition runs free for up to 25 hosts and one tenant, no sign-up. Pricing
Recommended: a dedicated, empty Debian or Ubuntu machine — a small VM with 4 GB RAM is enough. Run it as root, no sudo needed.
